Ahmed Shehzad scored a brilliant innings of 55-ball 89 in the final match of Independence Cup.

LAHORE (Dunya News) – After Shoaib Malik trolled Ahmed Shehzad on Twitter, the opening batsman responded brilliantly in the final match against the World XI and made Malik say that he is ‘great’, something that Shehzad was asked of by the all-rounder.

Ahmed Shehzad scored a brilliant innings of 55-ball 89 in the third and final Twenty20 of Independence Cup. His brilliance with the bat not only helped Pakistan in winning the series, but also earned him man of the match award.

After the match, star all-rounder Shoaib Malik wrote to Ahmed Shehzad on Twitter, “Champion innings bro @iamAhmadshahzad tussi great hi nai balkey cha gey ho (Champion innings bro @iamAhmadshahzad you are not only great but have stolen the show) & I know you know that because I have told you myself”

Earlier, Shoaib Malik had asked the opening batsman on a lighter note to give him a chance of calling Ahmed great after the second Twenty20 against the World XI.

According to details, Malik on Wednesday shared a picture of spectators that came to see Pakistan’s second Twenty20 match of the historic Independence Cup at the Gaddafi Stadium on his social media account and gave a caption, “Lahore, tussi great ho! (Lahore, you are great!) today your support gave all Pakistani cricketers including me goosebumps. Feels so surreal”

Ahmed Shehzad retweeted Shoaib’s tweet and said, “Lhr toh great hai hi but tussi bhi bht great ho (Lahore is great, but you are also great).. what an achievement in this historical series.. congratz bro”

The 35-year-old did not leave the chance of trolling Shehzad and replied him, “Thank you bro kabhi mujhe bhi mauqa de apko great bolne ka (Thank you bro, and give me a chance to call you great as well)”

All of this was done in good humor, and fans enjoyed the conversation a lot between their cricketing heroes.
